Pretty in Pink
When Baby L's mom called 21 Moments Photography to arrange her newborn photoshoot, her 1st question was, I want my husband and oldest daughter in the photos, is that something you do? Of course was my response. I have a collection that includes immediate family members. Then she stated that her oldest daughter was 18...months old! Yes, pretty much a baby herself. Her mom was super nervous about how things would go and with both girls and I assured her it would all be fine.
I told her about my 22 month old and that if I could get her to take photos (because she isn't like my older 2 kiddos, she does NOT cooperate all the time) then I could definitely get her big girl to take some photos. By now, my daughter has "helped" me learn all the tricks to getting siblings to cooperate during a newborn or family photo session. So, I was definitely prepared for the pretty in pink/boho vibe-ish session.
Needless to say, the session went so, so well. I mean truly, baby L's sister was a dream! She loved to kiss her little sister and she was actually pretty gentle with her. It was super sweet to witness. Baby L came ready to rock her session and even gave me 1 sweet smile. We all had a great time talking, and posing and mom surely loved all the final images from the session.
