Capturing this magazine-styled maternity photoshoot for a gorgeous first time mom was nothing short of a vibe. From the moment she walked in, curls popping and makeup slayed, I knew this session was going to be amazing.
We went for a simplistic black and white look for the photos because it would keep the focus solely on her growing baby bump. No distractions just the pure sentiment of motherhood. The result? Timeless, editorial-inspired portraits that felt like they belonged in the pages of a high-end magazine.
We kept they wardrobe classic, a fitted black dress and a blazer pantsuit combo. The lighting was soft but intentional, wrapping her is deep shadows and glow highlights, that accentuated all her curves. She slayed every pose even with this being her first time at a professional photoshoot.
As an Orlando maternity photographer, it's always an honor to be invited into these deeply personal spaces. But this photoshoot reminded me of why I love what I do. The simple beauty that radiates in such an ethereal moment, always makes for the most jaw-dropping images. This session showed the power of a mother's story, told in black and white, and all of the emotion in between.
