Baby Xander's mom called me to book her newborn session while she was 8 months pregnant and told me the gender was going to be a surprise to her. She already had 2 boys and wanted to have her 3rd baby's gender be kept a secret until their birth day. How exciting! We planned colors and props for either gender and I have to admit the anticipation on her due date had me on edge because I couldn't wait to find out what she would have. I kind of wish I would've let my 3rd baby's gender be a surprise to me.
Obviously, since she already had 2 babies, her due date could come early or late. Mom delivered a few days early and as you can see from the photo above, she had another BOY! Yes, she is officially a boy mom. And let me tell you, meeting her older 2 boys (ages 3 and 6) and watching them kiss their new baby brother every 5 minutes made my heart melt. The love that runs within the entire family shined so bright and working with them was really fun.
We were able to capture the family poses 1st, then we moved on to the sibling poses where the boys did a great job being gentle. We finished off with baby Xander's solo poses and he slept like a dream. Mom and dad definitely loved all their cute baby's photos and really enjoyed their experience with me.
