Welcoming Baby Girl
You know it's going to be a great newborn session with baby comes in warm and cozy in her clothes, gets changes and swaddled in my wraps and stays asleep the entire time. Mom, dad, and big brother joined for a super sweet session filled with really good conversation.
We kept the color palette simple with pink and purple, per mom's request. Her peaceful expression and little baby coos were so adorable. She was a real life gorgeous baby doll. Big brother made me work quickly because I told him if he took a few photos then he could show me Bowser on his Mario Bros game. Haha. He followed through on his end of the deal so while baby girl got a diaper change, I followed through on my end of the deal.
I think dad stole the show though. He definitely was eager to cuddle and snuggle with baby M every chance he got. It was such a sweet thing to see. Mom joined in for some photos as well and I think she was still grasping being a family of 4. We chatted about her labor, and transition with work, and big brother heading to kindergarten soon. She also told me to check out a boba tea place (I'm not a fan but my kiddos are and they were in tow) and wow, it was absolutely 10/10 I would highly recommend. Lol.
But back to the subject at hand...Sessions like these are such a gift because those tender little quiet moments become lifelong memories. It was an honor to help them preserve the beginning of their new chapter as a growing family.
